Information You Submit
Search entries, such as a name, telephone number, or street address, go to the outside provider that supplies the results. Orem People Search does not save those queries on its servers. When you send a message, we receive the details you decide to provide and process them for the purpose of answering you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create routine logs that can include an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and time of access. Aggregate trends help us maintain the service and see which Orem resources are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement where used.
How the Information Is Used
Collected information supports site operation, error diagnosis, traffic measurement, and content improvement. We do not compile user profiles or sell a visitor list.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to Orem offices, Utah County custodians, Utah state portals, libraries, or outside search services. Information entered after leaving this domain is controlled by the destination's own policy. The same rule applies to sponsored results, which an independent provider supplies.
Parties That May Process Data
Vendors that host or maintain the service may process technical logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners can receive the automatic information already described. Visitor data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it; otherwise, we do not share it.
Security and Retention
An encrypted connection protects data in transit. Technical logs are kept only for as long as the purposes listed above require. Since Orem People Search has no user accounts, it stores no account password or personal profile for a visitor.
Visitors Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor may have submitted such information so it can be removed.
Your Utah Privacy Rights
The Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code ยง13-61-101 et seq., grants qualifying consumers rights to confirm and access covered data, delete data they provided, obtain portable data, and opt out of sale or targeted advertising. Covered controllers generally have 45 days to respond, and complaints may be sent to the Utah Division of Consumer Protection. Our limited records can be checked through the contact mailbox and server logs. Submit a request through the Contact page. The Act does not erase government records retained under law, so requests involving Orem, Utah County, or Utah agency files must go to the actual custodian.
Changes to This Policy
Any revision will appear here as a new version. Using Orem People Search after an update signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
